We’ve to travel at least sometimes throughout our life. Many people have to travel a lot, sometimes willingly or unwillingly. On the other hand, many people are fond of travelling, they just love to travel. Many people don’t like travelling at all but still they’ve to travel sometimes in their life . They like or don’t like their journey but they have to go through it sometimes in their life. For many people, travelling is like a passion and for others travelling is just a matter of fun and enjoyment.
For many of you, it could be a matter of fun and enjoyment. All along we couldn’t deny the other side of traveling, the troubling side of travelling. Troubling in the sense, what if you get ill between a long trip and you are away from the city and you don’t have the first aid box/meds with you. This is one challenge, there could be other challenges as well in travelling. In this blog i am gonna take on one challenge which is quite normal in almost all travelling trips. Which is quite natural and I’m gonna give the natural remedy for this. The challenge is ‘travelling stress’ and it’s different from illness.
Guys, before coming to its remedy, i wanna mention one thing that this remedy isn’t something out of the box. It is so common and simple, we’ve heard it many times in our life and maybe many of you’ve already experienced it in your life. The only reason to say this is that this is quite effective and it has worked in my life many times. So, why not use such a remedy which is free and natural. Which is going to heal your travelling stress naturally and peacefully.
The Remedy
Imagine, in general you get up at eight in the morning but once a day you get up at six in the morning for a trip. You travel all day long, so naturally at the end of the day you are having travel stress. You feel so tired and you don’t feel comfortable at all. One method is to see a doctor, which is quite easy, only you may have to spend a bit of money and take a few medicines or something. Our method is to see a river or a lake instead of a doctor. I guess you got my idea now.
Only you have to search for a river or in case there is no river you could search for a small lake or waterfall or Fountains. Among all, fountains would be easily available as they are placed in parks & other sites as well. Just go there and sit near water, you could find a proper sitting place on a few places near water which is called riverfront or a lakeside and so on (Name could differ from place to place). Now, you could close your eyes for a while and feel the water. Try to feel the sound of water or it could be the sound of birds chirping, it could be waterfall, it could be air and so on. In short, you just try to feel the nature in order to heal your travel stress naturally. You would feel all fresh within minutes without spending a single penny & without meds.
Other Ideas
Just in case you don’t find any water resource near you. Just try to find a peaceful place and spend your time there. It could be a prayer hall or any silent zone. Your motive is to just relax your body and mind and seek peace. In case you feel extreme tiredness in your body, you could go for Ayurvedic Acupressure. You must know the acupressure points of your body in order to heal a particular part of your body quickly. For another idea you could go for my another blog which is look up in the sky and make your destiny.
There could be other ideas as well, so be in search of those ideas and don’t hesitate to implement those in your life. You never know which idea is gonna transform you and then the world through you. So guys, keep travelling and be stress free.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is travel stress and how is it different from regular tiredness?
Travel stress is a specific type of mental and physical exhaustion that occurs during or after traveling. Unlike regular tiredness from work or daily activities, travel stress combines multiple stressors: long hours away from your normal environment, disrupted sleep schedules, unfamiliar surroundings, and the mental load of navigating new places. It’s not an illness but a natural response to the demands and changes that travel brings. This is why it requires a different approach than medication; it needs mental and emotional restoration.
How does spending time near water help relieve travel stress?
Water has a natural calming effect on both the mind and body. The sounds of flowing water, waves, or fountains create a soothing environment that helps your nervous system relax. When you sit near water and close your eyes, you engage your senses in a gentle, meditative way. You focus on the sounds of water, birds, wind, and nature instead of your travel worries. This sensory shift allows your mind to reset and your body to release accumulated stress. The combination of visual beauty, sound, and the presence of water creates a healing environment that restores your mental peace naturally.
Where can I find water resources to heal travel stress if I'm in a city?
Water resources are more accessible than you might think. In cities and towns, look for fountains in parks and public spaces, rivers and lakesides if available, waterfalls in natural areas nearby, or even man-made water features in gardens and recreational areas. Fountains are often the most easily accessible option since they’re typically found in parks, shopping areas, and public gathering spaces. You don’t need a remote location, even a small fountain in a nearby park can provide the calming effect you need. The key is finding a quiet spot where you can sit peacefully and connect with the water’s natural rhythm.
What should I do if I can't find water resources near me?
If water isn’t available, look for any peaceful place where you can relax and find quiet. This could be a prayer hall, temple, mosque, church, meditation room, library, or any silent zone. The goal is to find a space that allows your mind and body to relax away from the noise and stimulation of travel. You could also try practicing deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness in a quiet corner. For physical relief from extreme tiredness, consider Ayurvedic acupressure, which targets specific pressure points in your body to release tension and restore energy. The principle is the same—use natural methods to heal yourself without medication.
How long does it take to feel relief from travel stress using these natural methods?
Most people report feeling fresh and relieved within minutes of sitting near water or in a peaceful place. The beauty of these natural remedies is that they work quickly you don’t need to spend hours meditating or waiting for medication to take effect. Even 10-15 minutes of sitting near water with your eyes closed and your focus on the natural sounds can significantly reduce travel stress. The faster relief comes because you’re not fighting against your body with medications; instead, you’re working with nature to help your mind and body naturally reset. Individual experiences may vary, but the general timeline is fast and noticeable.
Are these natural remedies suitable for all types of travel stress?
These natural remedies work well for the common travel stress that comes from fatigue, mental exhaustion, and environmental changes. However, if you experience severe symptoms—like chest pain, extreme anxiety, persistent illness, or other medical concerns—you should consult a doctor. These natural methods are best used as preventive care and for managing mild to moderate travel stress. The idea is to use them regularly during your travels to prevent stress from accumulating, rather than waiting until you’re in extreme distress. Keep exploring different methods and ideas that work for you, and don’t hesitate to implement them in your life. You never know which approach will transform your travel experience.
